This theme covers travel and holidays, places and directions, social media and technology, the environment, and where people live.
Holiday questions are the most reliable source of past tense marks, since aller takes être and its participle agrees with the subject — je suis allée for a female speaker. Prepositions of place recur throughout: en for feminine countries, au for masculine, à for towns, and en for enclosed transport. Directions use the vous imperative, and tout droit meaning straight on is constantly confused with à droite meaning to the right. Technology and environment questions both invite balanced argument, and il faut or on devrait followed by an infinitive raises the register while remaining easy to get right.
